“In This World” is a song written to emphasize the importance of cohesion in the human race. We are in this world together until we pass on, so being civil to one another and supporting each other doesn’t cost us anything. The challenges of living in a hostile world with fears, temptations, and devastating current events can certainly weigh heavy on everyone at some point.

This is all the reason to focus our energy on working for each other rather than against, using God as an anchor in our quest to make the world a better place before we are no longer here. Life is a miracle and a gift in itself, and we are unaware of the time we are given in this world.

My repeated line in this song “Everybody knows what it means to live in this world” is targeted to everyone who truly appreciates the life they are living, as well as those who have not yet realized their limited time as a miracle in this world.
