The recurring themes of love reach another emotional peak through lines expressing a simple desire for someone to remain close. Throughout the album, this focus on relationships provides its emotional centre, and “Everywhere” captures that particularly well.
The closing track, “For U,” may well be the album’s most surprising moment. Its lively introduction immediately stands apart, embracing an infectious summer atmosphere with unmistakable hints of 1970s rock. There are shades of bands like The Kinks throughout the arrangement, from the bright guitar tones to the overall production style. Everything feels vibrant, catchy, and full of personality. The songwriting remains strong, but it is the musical direction that truly shines here. The retro influences suit the band exceptionally well and create what is arguably the most enjoyable listening experience on the album. It leaves the impression that exploring this sound further could produce even stronger future releases.
