SAMM’s album In The Beginning feels like a warm snapshot of youthful freedom, wrapped in soft colours and dreamy soundscapes. The record carries a strong sense of nostalgia, bringing back the kind of atmosphere that defined summer pop in the mid 2010s. It is an album that invites the listener to slow down, breathe, and drift into a world shaped by emotion, memory, and sunlit romance.

The production is one of the album’s strongest features. Each track is polished and carefully layered, creating a sound that sits between organic instrumentation and electronic texture. While the lyrics across the album are sincere and fitting for the genre, they sometimes lean toward simplicity. With a bit more depth and detail, they could become even more powerful. Still, the honesty in his writing gives the songs a genuine charm that aligns with the themes of youth and early love.
